Lifetime manufacturer warranty

Scissor Tech Germany offers a lifetime manufacturer's warranty on the purchase of a pair of scissors purchased on our website (Matsui and all other brands).

Our Matsui brand has been in existence for 20 years and we have experience in the manufacture, design and research of high quality hairdressing scissors. Matsui scissors are made of high quality Japanese stainless steel and only high quality parts are used and all our scissors are guaranteed to be free of defects. Our scissors are designed for durability and the colouring is also covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

All other accessories, including the case and oil, are warranted for 30 days.

Exclusion from manufacturer's warranty

The guarantee for scissors purchased from our online shop does not include re-sharpening and any damage caused by dropping the scissors or improper use. Please note that damage to the edges of the scissors or the dyeing caused by chipping, dropping, overtwisting or too loose tension, incorrect sharpening or cleaning of the scissors with chemicals or by not following our care instructions are not covered by the guarantee.

All defective scissors covered by the lifetime manufacturer's warranty must be returned to Scissor Tech Germany by express shipping for inspection. If there is a manufacturer error, your product will be replaced free of charge.

Exchange and refund program

At Scissor Tech, we know that choosing the right scissors online can be difficult. That's why we offer a 7-day exchange or refund program.

How it works

Please contact us as soon as you realize that an exchange or refund needs to be made. The 7-day exchange or refund program starts from the time of delivery.

• The scissors must then be returned to us by express mail. The scissors must be in new condition, without damage due to falling or similar. The scissors must be returned in the original packaging, including the case (please fasten the scissors properly), the cleaning cloth, the tension wrench and the oil pen as well as the warranty card and all action cards.

• We will then inspect the scissors and if there are no damages or problems, we will either exchange them for a pair of scissors of your choice or give you a refund minus a 10 USD shipping fee. It takes approximately 3-5 days from the day of the initial payment to complete the refund transaction.

Replacing your scissors

It is absolutely no problem to have your scissors replaced. We are happy to offer you our help in choosing another pair of scissors and will send you the new scissors as soon as we receive the exchange back from you in mint condition and original packaging. Exchange scissors as soon as we receive the pair you have returned to us.

Warranty returns or product exchanges must be expressly sent to the address below along with the purchase receipt and shipping number. Please let us know by email or phone when your scissors are on the move.
